The Women’s Business Forum of Bucks County Announces Changes and Additions to its Board

DOYLESTOWN – The Women’s Business Forum (WBF) of Bucks County is pleased to announce the following changes and additions to its Board. Laura Powers has assumed the post of President while Maria Evans has assumed the position of President-Elect. Pat Achilles, Dana Baedke, Janine Carroll, Paula Gregorowicz and Rhonda Heffern have been elected to serve as members of the Board.

Laura Powers, President, WBF
Laura Powers is founder and president of the Doylestown-based HG Marketing Group, a full-service strategic marketing firm serving a wide array of clients. An active member of the Doylestown community, Powers is a founding member of the Forum, which was organized in 2003. She is also the past president of the Kalmia Club, a civic-based women’s club based in Lambertville, New Jersey.

Maria Evans, President-Elect, WBF
Maria Evens is founder and president of Martino Evans Communications, a Bucks County-based company specializing in public relations, marketing, brand awareness and positioning. An award-winning writer and editor, Evans is a life member of the WBF, serves on the board of the Plumstead Baseball Association and volunteers with Twilight Wish Foundation.

Pat Achilles, Board Member, WBF
Pat Achilles is a Bucks County-based freelance illustrator who specializes in creating original artwork for magazines, corporations and product packaging. A graduate of Moore College of Art, Achilles also has a line of humorous greeting cards.

Dana Baedke, Board Member, WBF
Dana Baedke is the founder of Key Marketing Communications, a North Wales-based company that serves the marketing needs of small to medium sized businesses. A marketing expert, Baedke specializes in helping companies plan and execute their marketing and promotional plans.

Janine Carroll, Board Member, WBF
Janine Carroll is the director of sales and marketing for Bucks County Woman Magazine. An avid networker, Carroll is a member of the Bucks County Conference and Visitors Bureau, Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, eWomen Network – Bux-Mont Chapter and FACT of Bucks County.

Paula Gregorowicz, Board Member, WBF
Paula Gregorowicz is owner of The Paula G. Company, a consultancy that helps the self-employed and small business owner effortlessly use web technologies to maximize their business. In addition to being a certified internet webmaster professional, website consultant and published author, Gregorowicz is an associate certified coach of the International Coach Federation. Through her life and business coaching, women learn how to be comfortable in their own skin so they can create more wealth in their business and life. Gregorowicz is an active member of the Philadelphia Area Coaches Alliance, the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, and the International Coach Federation.

Rhonda Heffern, Board Member, WBF Rhonda Heffern, CLTC, is an insurance agent of New York Life Insurance Company and a registered representative with NYLIFE Securities, LLC. The focus of her Horsham-based practice is insurance planning, retirement and education funding strategies and addressing the impact of long-term care needs on families and their retirement portfolios. Heffern is a founder of the Women’s WELL, and a contributing writer for Bucks County Woman magazine and Bucks County Women’s Journal.

The WBF is a non-profit organization that unites, inspires and encourages women entrepreneurs to build and sustain viable businesses.
